Routine & Fees

Daily Routine

A robust structure and routine means that children know what is coming and as a result are more calm and comfortable in their environment. Variety is built in to the day by our teachers.

The babies, toddlers and pre-school each have different planned activities but with some crossover. We ensure that we follow your child’s home routine, which we find especially important in the baby room, when they first begin with us.

We sit down to eat breakfast together and assist children serving themselves.

When breakfast finished at 8:45, it’s free-play and children get to choose what to do. The rooms will be set up with different themes and it’s all about what your child wants to do.

The beginning of our day. It is best for children to arrive for 9am so that they can take part in the circle time and understand what the day will hold.

We hold broad learning activities and this is chance to spend a good session outdoors in our gardens or local parks.

We want children to spend good quality time with each other and their key person and develop their skills each day. A snack is available at 10am to help put off any cravings till lunchtime.

You may find us singing, role-playing, exploring or talking about our new topic. We also have our Ballet, Spanish and Yoga teachers host a session once each week.

Lunchtime is vital and our nutritious meals are served at appropriate times for each group.

For the younger ones, it is served just before midday and they then go for a sleep. For the older ones, they can have shake off the excess energy and recharge before the afternoon lessons and activities begin.

This is another chance for assorted activities to be set up. It is important to vary the activities to ensure that engagement is high, and children do not get the chance to be bored.

We serve a snack at 2pm, to ensure energy levels are kept up.

Tea time is the second largest meal of the day and is balanced with the other meals. It is another time for the children to have a break, enjoy conversation at the table with the teachers and each other before the final session of the day.

It is important that feedback is possible, so there is an opportunity when tea is finished for pick-ups to begin and conversations to happen at the door with parents.

Activities are arranged and play is supported by a capable team of teachers that support and engage children in their child-led play.
